Such a Colorful City

Just finished a new little bit of really colorful artwork… from my flickr photostream…

I sat idly for a couple hours, and came up with this in the meantime. Since I wanted something colorful, naturally, my first stop was COLOURlovers, where I used their palette design app to come up with the five-color palette used here.
I’ve [...]

A Video For Radiohead’s Weird Fishes/Arpeggi

This is not especially new, but definitely notable: Programmer Robert Hodgin basically wrote a program using the Processing language that became a video for Radiohead’s Arpeggi/Wierd Fishes, and the result is below. It’s reminiscent of Radiohead’s video for Pyramid Song, sans storyline:

Robot Jesus

So there’s this meme going around where one describes something plain, like vegetables, in the most expletive-laden manner possible. I found this picture of “robo-Jesus” today, and thought the two would be a very good fit.

Apparently, his campaign is both [...]

Wanted: Solja Girl

Some of you might have seen this video last week, wherein a walking stereotype of a woman verbally assaults a little old lady on an Atlanta subway by, among other things, reciting lyrics to “Crank That Solja Boy”. Really.

Missed Connections (Orlando)

As anyone who frequents Craigslist knows, the Missed Connections section is quite possibly one of the best ways online to laugh at losers in your very own neighborhood. Sure, one might hope these posts are jokes, lest humanity be that pathetic. These are just a few posts I found from my area (Orlando) on a [...]

Clover (in Florida)

If you haven’t heard of the Clover, you aren’t a coffee snob; and if you aren’t a coffee snob, then you won’t care, and this post is not for you. That said, if you’ve already had a cup of coffee from a Clover, then consider yourself both lucky and in the vanguard. Very few cafes [...]
