The other day, I was at a bar watching the Marlins game with a friend of mine; the television next to the one we were watching had a NASCAR race on, and the people sitting next to our booth were watching that.

One of them commented something to the tune of “how can people sit for hours watching a baseball game? It’s so boring.” And these people were content to watch cars racing around a circle trying to pass each other at 200 MPH. Kind of like the I-95, but faster, and yet less exciting.
