Wrapped up the first paying gig for my side biz today. Things are already ramping up pretty quickly. Looks like I’ll be able to pay off all my debts this coming year the way things are going. Maybe pretty soon. Like I said, things are ramping up.

I went out for some drinks with my brother last night kind of for my last day at the job. I also did some work for my side biz, and ended up going to sleep so late that I woke up groggy today, and kind of drifted through it.

This was the final day of my job, and Monday I start the new one. We had a lunch send-off, an exit interview, and stuff like that; I barely did any actual work. I guess that’s how the last days of work go. Goodbye, Winter Park.

Tomorrow’s the last day at my job. Really, I was barely here a year, but you get used to things pretty fast, and it feels a little weird to think I won’t be driving these roads much anymore.

Just a few more days remain before I walk into the office complex behind a strip mall for the last time. I suppose I’m getting a bit contemplative, taking things slowly, reading more, relaxing more. I like that.

Though I’m a lame duck at work now, I’m still getting some work done. I’m incapable of being lazy. It feels kind of strange in these last days, but it’s better than the last days of my previous job, when we found the company was going under.

Today’s the first day of the last week at my job. I spent my lunch filling out all the paperwork for my new job. Moving on is good.

I got some good work done during the weekend. It seems when I’ve got work coming in, it comes in fast, and this is good. This week will be my last at the current job, then off to bigger, better things.

It’s been rainy. I got work done for the side biz during the day, and spent the evening reading, then driving around aimlessly as I haven’t done in some time. Night is a good time.

The last two weeks are the "lame duck" two weeks, but I’ve gotten a surprising amount of work done so far. Today, nearly everyone was out for one reason or another, and I mostly sat around though.
